The other night, while entertaining the Muse with an episode of The Mentalist, I received notification from Hot Rod Cowgirl that my blog had been nominated for
The Wonderful Team Member Readership Award.
How lovely to be nominated as a blog reader!
When I started this blog almost two years ago I had no idea where it would take me. Nor had I any grasp of how much my world would expand by reading other blogs. And, for that matter, I didn’t appreciate the online camaraderie to be gained while musing into cyberspace.
As a blog reader I am grateful for how my understanding on many topics ~ from travel to trauma to photography to poetry ~ has been expanded.
Hot Rod Cowgirl touches the heart of my inner cowgirl. I love to read about her adventures on the ranch. Reminds me of times spent on a friend’s farm in Alberta when I was a teenager.
I’d like express my appreciation to everyone who regularly stops by this blog to read about my experiences in the horse world, in particular with Bear. Each like, comment, interaction waters the fertile soil of my mind and encourages me to keep writing about my passion for horses.
As the recipient of this award I have a few responsibilities:
1.The Nominee of the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award shall display the logo on his/her blog.
2.The Nominee shall nominate 14 readers they appreciate over a period of 7 days, all at once or little by little.
3.The Nominee shall name his/her Wonderful Team Member Readership Award nominees on a post or on posts during 7 days.
In consideration of their loyalty, I would like to nominate the following for The Wonderful Team Member Readership Award:
Nurture what you love …
Dorothy 🙂

Well done you and thank you for thinking of me although it maybe sometime before I get around to it
Dorothy thank you so much for nominating me. I really appreciate it.
You’re most welcome … 🙂
Hi, there!
I found you by way of Dor’s blog, when she nominated me for this award. I wanted to come visit, because I have grown extremely fond of horses in my “middle age” years. We live a couple of hours from the Outer Bank of North Carolina, and we visit there often, driving up on the beach to see the wild Mustangs. I have a category especially for those posts on my blog if you’d care to visit.
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment. I’ll be sure to check out your posts. … Be well, Dorothy 🙂
Congrats to you, Dorothy! As a Texan and country lover at heart, I appreciate those horses which can glide you along green patches of heavenly, endless meadows. It sure beats a lot of the city life!
Anyway, thanks for visiting my little space and I hope to see you visit again soon.
Take care,
Christian
Thanks, Christian. … You’re on my Reader … I will be back soon. I love the little nuggets of wisdom on your blog. … Be well, Dorothy 🙂
So kind of you! I’m really glad to hear you find some things of interest. We are striving to add new material all the time while keeping up with comments from readers!
It’s so nice of everyone to lend their views and support!
Christian
Congratulations on being nominated, awesome!! I too feel the same way about the blogosphere; meeting people I probably never would have in real life, and, it opens the world up to us to learn and grow from one another.
Thank you so much, I’m deeply touched. Your words and life mean a lot to me, thank you ever so much for sharing your stories with the world, you make life richer by being in it. Yes, nurture what you love…such wise, wise words! With gratitude, hugs & smiles. 🙂
Dorothy, you are most deserving of this award and I am honored you now share it with me. You are one of the most inter-active bloggers I have come across–and instill a sense of easy delight and connection in your readers as well as those you visit. Know that your insights, whether on the equestrian scene or life in general, are not lost in this massive WordPress world but truly valued by many. Till soon…
Thank you, Rayora. Your feedback means a lot to me. It isn’t alway possible to know just what kind of impact you’re going to have on people. My intent is always to have a positive one. … Thanks for your insights and support. I’m having great fun watching my life unfold with more awareness. 😉 …
